This spring we plan to do some aggressive fund-raising to develop a McCormick Tribune Community Garden and Greenhouse. The plan is for the greenhouse and gardens to be located on our west lawn behind the gymnasium. We hope to have classes on gardening, growing organic vegetables, and health and nutrition awareness. In addition, we will provide an opportunity to build community and strong friendships. There will be tons of volunteer opportunities for all of you avid gardeners. This will be a great opportunity to bring the farm to the city and teach our local youth and families how they can start there own gardens at home.
