I've seen the future and the future is handball shaped...
Be a part of the future, play handball! Handball has been called "The Perfect Game" for many reasons. Playing handball develops foot speed, hand-eye coordination, agility, focus, fitness but most of all Handball is a lifetime sport. Just stop by the courts Tuesdays and Thursdays at noon and you will see decades of handball experience with the "Nooners" handball players, with an average age of 70. Stop by Saturday afternoon, Tuesday and Thursday evenings and you will see "Norm's Gang" with players ranging from their 20's to 70+ years. Or stop by Saturday afternoons at 4pm and see the Lattof YMCA youth handball program with players ranging from 8 to 19 years. Handball is a tradition here at the Lattof YMCA and all our exciting young players of today are adding to that tradition. We are proud to be the host for this year's Junior National Championship attracting players from all around the country, Ireland, Canada and Mexico. Our youth handball program is open to players who are just beginning to play as well as players who compete on a national level. Due to a generous gift from Mr. Gary Fairhead, our Youth Handball Program is free to YMCA members, so come on in and register and be a Part Of The Future...Play Handball!
