The member must come into the YMCA 15 days prior to the draft date that is closest to your requested hold date to sign a Membership On Hold Agreement. This agreement states when the membership will go on hold and when the monthly drafts will stop/start.
The member will also be required to pay a $25 administrative fee as well as relinquish all cards associated with the membership. A draft reinstatement reminder letter including a reminder when to pick up the membership card(s) will be mailed out a month before the draft is set to begin again.

Our monthly draft system is a flexible and convenient way to pay for membership. Upon joining, the joining fee and the first month's draft are due. With your permission, an automatic withdrawal from your checking account or Visa, MasterCard or Discover card will begin the next month. The joining fee is nonrefundable. There is no contract binding you to a membership. Proper termination is required to discontinue monthly draft. We must receive a written cancellation request 15 days prior to your draft date.
It is the goal of the YMCA to provide educational, social and physical services to residents in our community regardless of their ability to pay. Waiver or reduction of fees is available subject to facility and program capacity and demonstrated need without regard to race, color, nationality, religion, sex, age or disability.
Fees may be paid by cash, check or credit card. To qualify for member rates, your membership must be valid at the time of registration and throughout the entire session. Classes missed due to holidays, illness, conflicts or bad weather are not made up and credits are issued.
If the participant cancels no more than 7 days into a class, he/she may receive 100% credit toward future services OR a refund (less a $15 service charge per cancelled class). All credit/refund requests are subject to Program Director's approval. Paperwork can be found at the Member Services Desk.
There are times when we are forced to cancel a class due to low participation. In order to prevent this from happening to you, please register early, don't wait until the last minute to sign up! Parents, please try to get your children registered as early as possible in order to guarantee the class or program will run and your child has a space reserved!
